Mr. Paul Halpainy is the lead teacher for Concord Middle School Bands and has been with the Concord Public Schools since 2013. Paul holds a Bachelor’s of Music in Music Education from Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA) and a Master’s of Music in Music Education from Boston University.
Prior to teaching in Concord, Paul taught Instrumental Music in the Mattapoisett School District and General Music in the Chelsea Public Schools. Paul is an active performer and plays trombone with several local bands.
Paul is a member of the Massachusetts Instrumental and Choral Conductors Association (MICCA), the National Association for Music Educators (NAfME) and the Massachusetts Music Educators Association (MMEA).
As an active member of MMEA, Paul has served the Eastern District as Junior Festival Jazz Ensemble Manager (2016) and Assistant Manager (2015). He is currently serving as Junior Festival Manager. On the statewide level, Paul has served as the All-State Concert Chair (2018) and Assistant Concert Chair (2017).

Mr. Jacob Eisenman is the lead teacher for Concord Elementary School Bands and began teaching band in Concord Public Schools as of 2022. Prior to teaching in CPS, Mr. Eisenman had been directing the bands at Boston Latin Academy since 2013. Mr. Eisenman has an additional 5 years experience teaching instrumental music in New York State at the public school level and 2 years at Ithaca College where he instructed classes and rehearsals for students earning degrees in music education and music performance.
Mr. Eisenman has been active in the New York State School of Music (NYSSMA) solo and ensemble festivals and highly involved in their Elementary, Junior High, and Jazz All-County Festivals as a clinician, teacher, and adjudicator. Upon becoming a member of the Massachusetts Music Educators Association (MMEA), Mr. Eisenman has taken on the managerial positions for the Senior Concert Band, Junior Jazz Band (assistant manager), and the Senior Jazz Band.
Mr. Eisenman earned a bachelor's degree in music education from State University of New York at Fredonia and a master's degree in music performance from Ithaca College. In 1999, Mr. Eisenman was a concerto winner at SUNY Fredonia, while also earning Fredonia’s most prestigious “Performance Certificate” award. In 2006, he was a finalist for The United States Army Band, “Pershing's Own.” Mr. Eisenman still leads an active role as a member of the National Association for Music Educators (NAfME) and the Massachusetts Music Educators Association (MMEA).
